HISTORY OF ORGANISATION

During my service in Bareli Town of U.P. when I came to see my ailing mother in law at Ranchi, my friends and relatives, specially my mother drew my attention towards the educational backwardness of my own village. They stressed on the opening of such a school where the daughters of the community could get Modern Education with Islamic System of Pardah and Islamic Cultural know how. Keeping in mind the role of Christian "Missionaries" which are establishing schools to equip Christian youths with modern education to face the modern challenges along with religious education to build them up as good Christians. My mother Sadiman Khatoon supported the cause with Rupees Ten Thousand. I and my wife, with the blessings of my mother resolved to establish a school for girls of the community in our village. We resigned from our services. And the entire amount of Rupees one and a half lakh which we received as a result of our resigning from service and also the sale proceeds of our jewellery was invested in starting the project.  We started the school with the name of "Allah" the almighty on 8th January 1998. We got a house in rent

house at rent at Gulzar Road, Itki and started Fatima Girls Academy with 17 students in Class VI & VII. With the grace of "Allah" and blessings of my parents and well wishers, the concept of Fatima Girls Academy was well received in the area and the very next year we had to introduce other classes also as the strength of students rose from 17 to 170. Obviously the space became insufficient for this strength, so we decided to shift the school from Gulzar Road to another location in same area to accommodate the rising strength of students. This new location was acquired only for five years under agreement with the landlords. We were all this while worried about the future of Fatima Girls Academy and other projects which we were working on to be introduced in future. We finally decided to acquire a suitable piece of land for our projects. We were short of funds and had limited resources to fulfill this endeavor. But we continued to look around for land and finally decided to purchase land just at the entrance of village Itki. For this purpose we faced tremendous difficulties and obstructions but "ALHAMDULILLAH"  all difficulties and obstructions were overcome and our present piece of land was finally registered in the name of  Fatima Educational and Health Trust under which banner all our present and future units will be run. In the first phase, a hostel with modern facilities to accommodate 50 girl students is under construction. We hope that it will be finally commissioned in 2007 "INSHA-ALLAH". We have also begun the construction work of the school building in the same campus and when this building is completed we would finally shift from the rented house. The new school building will have 18 classrooms with a science block complete with all modern facilities. We have resolved to bring up a campus befitting the needs of muslim girl students complete with the directives of the "SHARIAH".

Safa Public School (CBSE pattern) a co-ed school for all communities is being run in Rampur, Lohardaga district of Jharkhand by our Trust since 1999 with about 200 students. The students of this school belong to not only Muslim community but also non-Muslims. All the students are given Urdu classes and satisfactorily non-Muslim students are also taking interest in Urdu classes.

Narkopi is a village about 17 kms from Itki. The residents of Narkopi approached us to start a school there. We Started Modern Public School (CBSE Pattern) in Narkopi in 1993 and the present strength of this school is 175. We hope to fulfill the educational requirements of the badly deprived village of Narkopi after upgrading this school in near future. There are other similar projects for different villages under consideration.
